As last year, our lamas wish to devote the time available to a retreat in which teachings will alternate with periods of meditation practice. While it would be best to attend the sessions in their entirety, the retreat is open to all and everyone is encouraged to attend as much as they can.

The teachings will take place at La Sonnerie and will begin at 09h30, Saturday 4 August.
The rest of the programme will be announced as events proceed.

The Precious Wish-Fulfilling Treasure (yid bzhin rin po che'i mdzod) is one of the Seven Treasures of Longchenpa, the Omniscient King of Dharma (1308-1364). These Treasures, which are among Longchenpa's greatest works, explain with unequaled brilliance the entire Dharma according to the perspective of the Great Perfection.
The Wish-fulfilling Treasure, usually considered to be the first of the seven, is accompanied by an auto-commentary entitled the White Lotus. It discusses the structure of the world, the nature of beings, ultimate reality, the methods for liberating oneself from samsara, the gradual stages of the path and the fruit of meditation.
Khenchen Pema Sherab began last year to give very detailed teachings on this text, and will continue in the coming years.

The teachings will be given at La Sonnerie.
